We specialize in helping you feed your friends, coworkers, guests or family.  Our goal is to do the work so you don’t have to, and help you make your special event shine.

 

Ï Picnics—At Metropulos Fine Foods Merchant, we carry just about everything to enjoy a picnic on the beach or in the mountains.  Bring us your picnic basket and we’ll fill it with an array of beautiful foods to share with your friends and family.  We stock 75 cheeses, 50 types of charcuterie and 15 types of olives.  Add a baguette, some imported tonno, some stuffed peppers, a little bottle of olive oil, a wine of your choice, and you’re on your way.  Concerts in the park are our specialty, and from here, it’s a short walk to Summer’s Thursday night concerts at Chase Palm Park. 

Ï Gift Baskets—We are also specialists in preparing gift baskets or picnic baskets filled with beautiful and delicious gourmet foods, to be delivered to local hotels or homes, when you want to send that special person a gift of food.

Ï Luncheons—For your next business meeting, consider bringing in platters of our wonderful, creative sandwiches, all labeled so your guests can choose their favorite.  Our sandwich platters are complemented by big bowls of green salads or composed salads, and dessert platters of cookies, bars or an assortment of selections from our sweets case. 

Ï Box Lunches—Let us prepare box lunches for your next event from 10 to 100.  We’ll help you design your own boxes based on your personal tastes, from sandwich selections that we know are crowd pleasers and that will hold up well until served.  Standard box lunches include a whole or half sandwich, an apple, a chip, a homebaked cookie, an Italian mint, and a dinner napkin.  The boxes can also be upgraded with a side salad instead of the apple, or completely styled out with assortments of charcuterie, cheeses, olives, antipasti, and breads or crackers

Ï Party Platters—We prepare beautiful cheese platters and antipasti platters to feed crowds large and small, to fit within most budgets.  Or order up trays of Italian or Greek baked dishes (lasagna, moussaka, pastitsio), savory tarts, or salads (broccoli salad, roasted beet salad, cobb salad, etc), to make it easier to feed a crowd.
