Get your Chicago on! Wednesday is Chicago-style Italian Beef Dip Day. We take a whole bottom round from Shalhoob Meats, slow roast it, and slice it thin. Then we marinate it in it’s own au jus and secret spices, overnight, then serve it on a baguette, topped with our own housemade spicy giardinara, and a blend of cheeses, with more au jus on the side for dipping. We finish it in the oven to make it oh so good and hot and gooey. Just like the Italian markets in Chicago. Delish! |

Every Friday (and Saturdays if not sold out on Friday)
Try our amazingly delicious house-made gyros. We buy freshly-ground lamb and beef from Shalhoob Meats, season it with our special proprietary seasonings, and over a period of three days, make it into the best gyros you’ve ever tried. NO MSG, no preservatives, no cereal fillers, just delicious meat and seasonings. Pan-sautéed to order, served on a soft locally made pita bread that we grill with a little kosher salt and oregano. Slathered with our house-made tzatzigiki (prepared just like the tzatzigiki in Greek town Chicago, extra garlicky and with lots of cucumbers), thinly sliced white onions, and fresh tomatoes. Served with a side of a Greek peasant salad. We also prepare a fresh batch of our Avgolemeno soup every Friday, and almost always have our freshly prepared baklava available. |
